DevBits Solutions proudly announced the go-live of Project HYDRUS, a groundbreaking weighbridge system developed for the global tyre manufacturing giant, Michelin Group. This marks a significant achievement for the Sri Lankan weighing industry, as it represents one of the most sophisticated and high-profile projects it has undertaken this year.
Project HYDRUS is particularly notable for being the first weighbridge software in Sri Lanka to incorporate axle weighing, setting a new benchmark for innovation in the region. The software is designed to meet Michelin’s stringent international standards, ensuring a high level of security and operational efficiency.
This mid-complexity, fully customized solution integrates seamlessly with two API services, enabling real-time information exchange with Michelin’s SAP system. The system supports a range of critical functionalities, including reweighing, weight cancellation, and other specialized weighing modules.
In collaboration with leading Sri Lankan players in the weighing industry, DevBits Solutions achieved seamless integration between the software and the advanced weighing hardware supplied for the project. The hardware included cutting-edge weighing devices from Rice Lake and Dini Argeo, ensuring a robust system characterized by precision and reliability.
“This project highlights the technical expertise and commitment of our team. Working with Michelin Group has been an honor, and delivering a system that meets their high standards is a milestone for us,” a spokesperson for DevBits Solutions commented.
